Drag Specialties Zinc Plated Steel Rear Sprocket and Pulley Spacers for 1984-1999 Harley-Davidson
Precision-engineer your motorcycle’s driveline with these high-strength steel spacer shims from Drag Specialties. Designed for 1984-1999 Harley-Davidson models, these shims provide the necessary clearance for custom wheel installations and wide tire conversions. By allowing for minute adjustments to the rear sprocket or pulley position, they help ensure a perfectly straight chain or belt path, reducing wear on your drive components and improving power delivery.
Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a corrosion-resistant zinc plating, these flat-style spacers are built to withstand the high torque and stress of V-Twin drivetrains. Unlike thicker self-centering spacers, these shims are designed to slip over the hub flange, allowing your existing hub lip to maintain registration with the pulley or sprocket for a secure, centered fit.

Installation and Fitment Notes
- CRITICAL CENTERING REQUIREMENT: This is a flat shim style spacer. Your wheel hub’s locating lip must be long enough to protrude through the spacer and engage the pulley or sprocket. If the spacer is thicker than your hub lip, the pulley will not be centered, leading to vibration and potential bolt failure.
- Bolt Engagement: Ensure proper thread engagement is maintained when using thicker spacers. Longer Grade 8 bolts may be required (sold separately).
- Compatibility: Designed for 3/4 Inch axle models with Timken-style tapered roller bearings.
- Maintenance: Torque all pulley bolts to the manufacturer’s recommended specifications and use a high-strength thread-locking compound.
