CUT TO LENGTH MOTORCYCLE AXLE 3/4 INCH

THIS AXLE IS MADE WITH EXTRA THREAD DEPTH WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO CUT UP TO 3/4″ OFF EACH SIDE FOR A CUSTOM FIT. MACHINED FROM STRESS-PROOF STEEL WITH 1/2-20 FEMALE THREADS. CHOOSE THE SMALLER HIDDEN STYLE RETAINING WASHERS OR THE LARGER EXTERNAL STYLE. THE HIDDEN STYLE IS TYPICALLY INSTALLED WHERE AXLES HAVE A COVER CONCEALING THE AXLE.

  • CAN BE SHORTENED UP TO 3/4″ ON EACH END FOR CUSTOM SIZES
  • HIDDEN STYLE WASHERS ARE TYPICALLY USED WHERE THE AXLE WASHER IS PLACED BEHIND A COVER
  • EXTERNAL AXLE WASHERS ARE FULLY EXPOSED AND LARGER IN DIAMETER
  • INCLUDED WITH THE AXLE ARE 2 RETAINING WASHERS AND FLATHEAD BOLTS

    Great idea. Nice and clean looking on the ends. Unfortunately, I screwed the pooch and mis-measured so I get to buy another one. Totally my fault. Part of the thrill when you’re building a custom scoot! Lol.

    The cut to fix axle worked great on my West Coast Chopper CFL1 frame. I just had to make new axle adjusters to adapt to the frame.

No, as you can see from the images and the description, these are an internally (female) threaded axle. Washers and flat head bolts are provided with them.
